The Aluminium Oval Sleeve is a standard wire rope ferrule featuring a simple, oblong shape designed to securely hold two wire rope strands side-by-side. When properly crimped, it forms a cold-welded bond that equals or exceeds the rated breaking strength of the wire rope.
Features a simple egg-shaped profile to accommodate the wire rope turnback. Ideal for creating permanent eyes or lap splices.
When swaged with the correct die, the aluminium flows into the wire strands, creating a bond capable of achieving up to 100% of the cable's breaking strength.
Extruded from high-quality alloy specifically for use with Galvanized Steel Wire Rope. Excellent natural corrosion resistance.
Available in a comprehensive range of fractional sizes from 1/4" up to 1-1/2" to suit heavy-duty industrial rigging needs.
