H-Lift TCP Type Push Trolley Clamp
*Locking Function: Secures the trolley in a stationary position for stable lifting.

Product Features

  • Dual Functionality: Acts as both a movable push trolley and a stationary beam clamp. The unit can be moved along the beam or securely locked in position.
  • Quick & Easy Installation: The central threaded spindle mechanism allows for rapid mounting and width adjustment without the need for spacers or tools.
  • Wide Capacity Range: Available from 0.5 Ton up to 5 Ton, providing versatile rigging points for chain blocks, lever hoists, and wire rope pullers.
  • Universal Beam Fit: Adjustable jaws fit a wide variety of I-beam and H-beam flange widths (from 64mm up to 305mm).
  • Enhanced Safety: Equipped with a locking lever to secure the clamp adjustment and anti-drop plates to ensure the trolley remains on the track.
  • Corrosion Protection: Features zinc-plated threaded spindles and clevises for extended durability in harsh industrial environments.
  • Compact Design: The integral construction offers a low headroom profile compared to using a separate clamp and trolley.

What is a Travel Trolley?

A push or geared travel trolley is a device designed to move heavy loads horizontally along an I-beam or similar track. It consists of a frame, wheels (rollers), and a suspension point for attaching a hoist or load.

Push vs. Geared: Which one to choose?

  • Push (Plain) Trolley: Best for infrequent movement or relatively light loads (typically up to 3 tons). Suitable where the beam height is below 6m (20ft). The operator simply pushes the load to move it.
  • Geared Trolley: Recommended for heavier loads (over 3 tons), higher beam elevations (>6m), or where precise positioning is required. Operated by pulling a hand chain which drives the wheels via gears.

H-Lift Ultimate Beam Trolley Selection Guide

Find the perfect trolley for your specific lifting application using the comparison table below:

Series Drive Type Capacity Key Advantage Recommended Application
PT-CA Type Push 0.5T - 10T Standard (Spacer Adj). Economical & stable. Permanent installation. General factory use. Loads < 3 Ton.
GT-CA Type Geared 0.5T - 10T Standard (Spacer Adj). Precise load positioning. Permanent installation. Loads > 3 Ton or high ceilings (>6m).
PT-FA Type Push 0.5T - 5T Quick Install. Threaded rod adjustment. Maintenance teams. Temporary rigging. Frequent location changes.
GT-FA Type Geared 0.5T - 5T Quick Install. Threaded rod adjustment. Maintenance teams needing precise positioning. Temporary use.
PT-DB Type Push 0.5T - 10T Twin Bar. Superior stability & anti-tilt. Wide beams. Applications requiring extra stability against side-loading.
GT-DB Type Geared 0.5T - 50T Twin Bar. Ultra-heavy duty capacity. Heavy machinery moving. Bridge construction. The only choice for 20T+ loads.
TCPS Type Clamp 2T - 6T Integrated Shackle. Self-aligning & fast setup. Portable lifting points. Applications requiring a pivoting shackle connection.

Safety Guidelines

Always

  • Store and handle trolleys correctly in a clean, dry area.
  • Inspect trolleys, blocks, and accessories before use.
  • Ensure the wheel profile matches the track/beam type.
  • Verify the trolley width is correctly set for the beam width.
  • Ensure the track is fitted with positive end stops.
  • Push (rather than pull) loads suspended on push trolleys.

Never

  • Never expose trolleys to chemicals (like acids) without consulting the supplier.
  • Never force or wedge the suspension hook onto the load bar.
  • Never throw or drop a trolley.
  • Never use a trolley with chipped or damaged wheel flanges.
  • Never obliquely side load a trolley (this can cause tipping or detachment).

Installation & Maintenance Guide

Installing and Commissioning

Ensure the runway track is level and has an even surface. Check that positive end stops are installed. Verify the trolley width is set correctly with spacers centered. Confirm anti-tilt devices are properly adjusted. If re-assembling, ensure all bolts and nuts are fully tightened.

Using Trolleys Safely

Do not side load! The trolley must be placed directly over the center of gravity of the load. Oblique side loading causes tipping and can lead to the trolley falling off the track. For push trolleys, push the load rather than pulling it to maintain better control.

In-service Inspection

Regularly inspect for wear on wheel treads and flanges. Check for insecure wheels, loose axle pins/nuts, or distorted side plates. Ensure hand chains (on geared models) are not damaged. Keep wheel running surfaces clean and free of oil/grease contamination to ensure traction.
