  • Lashing Chain with C Hook and D Ring

The Ro-Ro Lashing D-Ring Set is a complete heavy-duty securing point designed for permanent installation on ship decks and trailers. Featuring a forged alloy steel D-Ring and a weldable structural steel strap (wrap), it provides a secure, articulating anchor point capable of handling extreme loads ranging from 20 to 50 tonnes.

📦 Complete Lashing Point

Supplied as a set featuring a Forged D-Ring and a Weld-on Wrap. The wrap creates a secure hinge, allowing 180-degree articulation while keeping a low profile when idle.

🛠️ Material Engineering

Ring (40Cr): Forged alloy steel for maximum strength.
Wrap (Q235): Structural steel designed for reliable welding to steel decks.

⚓ High Capacity Range

Available in Minimum Breaking Loads (MBL) of 20T, 36T, and 50T. Suitable for securing passenger cars, heavy project cargo, and even battle tanks.

🔗 Versatile Compatibility

Wide inner dimensions accommodate standard C-Hooks, Elephant Foot lashings, and heavy-duty webbing hooks with ease.

Technical Note: Welding Instructions
  • Installation: The wrap (strap) is designed to be fillet welded directly to the steel deck plating.
  • Alignment: Ensure the D-ring is positioned to align with the expected direction of pull (lashing angle).
  • Safety Critical: Do not weld the ring itself. The heat can alter the heat-treatment properties of the 40Cr alloy. Only weld the Q235 wrap.
Pro Tip: For timber decks or applications requiring bolts, please check our Recessed Lashing Rings or Bolt-on D-Rings.

The Lashing Chain with C-Hook and D-Ring is a robust cargo securing assembly specifically designed for the transportation industry. By combining high-strength chain with specialized attachment hardware, this system ensures that heavy cargo remains stable and safe on flatbed trailers, ships, and other cargo-carrying vehicles.

Lashing Chain with C Hook and D Ring Application
🔗 Lashing Chain

A robust and durable chain designed for securing cargo. Manufactured from high-strength steel, these chains are available in various lengths and weight capacities to accommodate different cargo sizes and operational requirements.

🪝 C-Hook Attachment

Named for its "C" shape, this hook is designed to easily latch onto specific points on the cargo or transportation equipment. It provides a quick and reliable connection method for lashing operations.

⚓ D-Ring Anchor

A "D" shaped hardware piece typically welded or attached to the vehicle structure (trailer or ship deck). It acts as the primary anchor point, allowing chains to be tied down securely to prevent load shifting.

How It Works

The system works by creating a secure link between the transport vehicle and the cargo:

  1. Connect: The C-Hook attaches directly to the D-Ring (or compatible anchor point) on the vehicle structure.
  2. Secure: The other end of the lashing chain is fastened to the cargo being transported.
  3. Tension: When properly tensioned (using a load binder), this setup stabilizes the cargo, preventing movement during transit.
⚠️ Safety & Compliance: Proper cargo securing techniques are crucial. Always ensure that the equipment used complies with relevant industry standards and is rated for the specific weight of the cargo to guarantee safety for everyone involved.
