The Single Ply Endless Type Flat Web Sling (Class 5) is a versatile synthetic lifting sling manufactured from a single layer of flat webbing sewn into a continuous, endless loop.
Compliance: Manufactured in strict accordance with ASME B30.9 and WSTDA standards for reliable lifting operations.
Strength (Class 5): Features webbing with a minimum certified tensile strength of 6,800 pounds per inch of webbing width.
Design: The endless configuration features no fixed eyes, allowing the continuous loop to be rotated to distribute wear evenly and significantly increase the sling's lifespan.
Material: Constructed from premium flat synthetic webbing, offering excellent flexibility and load protection.
Most Economical Option The Single Ply, Class 5 configuration offers the most cost-effective solution for light-duty lifting applications where high capacity is not required.
Ultra-Flexible Profile Being the thinnest sling type available, it easily conforms to irregular load shapes and grips securely in a choker hitch, perfect for bundling light pipes or tubes.
Tight Clearance Access The low-profile design allows the sling to be easily fed through extremely narrow gaps or under loads with minimal ground clearance.
Standard Duty Webbing Manufactured from Class 5 polyester webbing (6,800 lbs/inch), balancing sufficient strength for general tasks with affordability.
Type V Endless Life The continuous loop design allows for wear point rotation, maximizing the service life of this economical sling.
Certified Safety Manufactured and tested in strict accordance with ASME B30.9 and WSTDA-WS-1 standards.
Thin profile required, but higher abrasion resistance needed.

Basic Webbing Sling Types
Standard Configurations & Measurement Guide
Type I (TC)
Triangle & Choker Fitting: Constructed with a standard triangle fitting on one end and a slotted triangle choker fitting on the other. This design allows it to be used in Vertical, Basket, or Choker hitches.
Type II (TT)
Triangle & Triangle Fitting: Constructed with a standard triangle fitting on both ends. This type is suitable for Vertical or Basket hitches only (cannot be used in a choker hitch).
Type III (EE - Flat)
Flat Eye-and-Eye: Made with a flat loop eye on each end, with the loop opening on the same plane as the sling body. Ideal for use in basket hitches, vertical hitches, or choker hitches.
Type IV (EE - Twisted)
Twisted Eye: Similar to Type III, but the loop eyes are twisted to form an opening at a right angle to the sling body. This design provides a better choke hitch fit on the crane hook.
Type V (EN)
Endless Sling (Grommet): A continuous loop formed by joining the ends of the webbing together. It is versatile and the wear points can be adjusted by rotating the sling.
Type VI (RE)
Reversed Eye (Return Eye): Formed by using multiple widths of webbing held edge-to-edge. Wear pads are attached to form loop eyes at right angles to the sling body. Extremely durable and strong.
How to Measure Web Sling Length
The length of a web sling is measured from the bearing point of one eye to the bearing point of the other eye (pull to pull).
